Shrimp Wonton Soup

Lee's Shrimp Wonton SoupLast night I made Shrimp Wonton Soup. I was very happy my wontons did not break open. First I chopped the raw shrimp, ginger and water chestnuts. I filled the wonton wrappers, being very careful to not overfill, and boiled them in lots of water until they rose to the top. Then I added them to chicken broth. Ideally, the chicken broth should be homemade, but I cheated and used canned low-sodium broth to which I added mushrooms, Napa cabbage, spinach, peapods and shredded chicken breast. It is not as good as Mary Chung's, but it is very good. We are going to fill all the wontons tonight and add them to broth with chicken. The recipe I used is by Nina Simonds http://www.recipeview.com/view.php?ItemID=132233.
