New Cookbooks

I got quite a few new cookbooks. Some of them are: Southeast Asian Specialties also with photos by Günter Beer. Originally in German, this book not only has an extremely useful glossary of the ingredients, including images, but it has wonderful exotic photos of the food and the people and very interesting descriptions of the recipes and the culture of the people. I am still debating if I should rip out the recipes for Sago Worms. I took this book out of the library so many times, it is time that it become a permanent member of my collection.

Other new acquisitions are: Passion for Tapas also illustrated by Gunter Beer and Cooking With Claudine (Jacques Pepin's Kitchen).

Speaking of tapas, I am now working on the Tapas page of recipes cd.
